It started with a conversation about the weather.

Elise on the West coast of Scotland, Andrea on the North coast and Sarah on the East were all experiencing a different sort of day - one sunny, one rainy, one snowy.

From there, we got to wondering about the other differences and similarities our days had and we decided to make a record of them.

So here it is: a photographic account of three different women leading three different lives on three different Scottish coasts. We are publishing our photos one week behind to save on internet-related stressing, and we hope you'll follow along.

Elise

Elise lives on the West coast of Scotland.  She spends most of her time at work programming cinema projectors and watching movies, or at home...watching movies.  And knitting.  Lately she's been learning more about the ins and outs of her camera, so this blog is the perfect place to practise and compare shots.  She blogs at 'Foof and Faff' and can be contacted at foofandfaff [at] hotmail.co.uk.

Andrea

Andrea lives on the North coast in the most northerly town on the UK mainland. She works in waste management so is often found lecturing children on the merits of recycling, or up to her elbows in an overflowing bin. Sarah

Sarah lives in Aberdeen on the East coast. By day she gets paid to write, tweet and take photos of great big buildings. By night she watches a lot of films, reads a lot of books and talks to her cats as if they're human (they totally understand). She can be contacted at sarahrooftops [at] gmail.com.
